The "keep the peace" part refers to whether or not Yuuichi confronts Shoichi's Dad upon meeting before the argument. Yuuichi doesn't like how Shoichi is treated, avd Shoichi knows, regardless of what option you pick.

Aki asks if you're dating if you don't confess the truth to Saya. But the reality is that he pretty much figures everything out very early into your relationship either way.

I do not mostly because those routes are much more straightforward. Though I suppose if that's totally desired, maybe.

Note: Naturally contains spoilers

I'm guessing they're talking about one of the Golden Week openings where Yuuichi wakes up to a really weird text message. Chances are it's just spam.

Jun is the craftiest boy, so it makes sense he ends up taking a lot of control in his own route.

Yup!

BDNF helps, but Yuu just has a fast learning rate with many things. He's quick with not just school but even in sports he doesn't play.

Yeah. There's a social movement to move it up to 16.

Don't know for Android. For the others there's a Saves folder in the game. You can just copy that over.

They're both shiba inus, so yeah.

Yeah, this got reported for the Android build and Basket said he's got a fix for it.

Yes. You kind of can't even get to this page without acknowledging you're 18+.

If you're wondering how much adult content there is, there really isn't much. This is a slice of life VN, so this is 80% slice of life, 19% drama, and 1% actual porn.

Route C

This is also true for Jun in the no-route ending. I think the biggest fate that might be changed is with Keisuke in his route, though even that's a giant uphill battle too.

When Jun gets ammo

I just witnessed a tiger bully a puppy and I feel incredibly bad over how much I enjoyed that.

Fraid not. Best bet would be to go offsite to something like Discord or some other social media.

Shoichi is obviously a flawed character. If he actually surpassed his fears and just confessed instead of staying quiet for five years, this might have never happened. And obviously his jealousy gets super real in the other routes.

But I actually LIKE the Shoichi's route because you delve into the absolute mess of a husky. Jun route is about grief and dealing with the sense of being broken. Keisuke route is about guiding your kouhai through a relationship. Shoichi route is about fixing the years of pain and tearing stress your childhood friend goes through after having missed the signals for so long.

It's accepting who Shoichi is as a person and believing that he can grow out of the prison that he and his father have built around him that makes the route gripping.

Pretty sure it'll impact the v0.50 update. It looks like relationship advice is the much better choice as of now.

Patreon version was on the 4th, so it should be on the 18th

Route C is a really good route. Heartbreaking, but really good.

I checked: Both of those options do matter. For example, here's a Route A example, where I get the Day 26 choice wrong:

  • D22: I still mean it
  • D22: Ignore your father!
  • D24: Maybe a little
  • D24: I can't bring myself to stay silent
  • D26: Be apologetic (This is incorrect)
  • D26: Keep pushing

I'm pretty sure that if you pick both "What I said?" and "Not at all", you don't get Route A. I'll check it later today.

Edit: Yeah, I reconfirmed it. If you pick the wrong option for both of the ones you say don't matter, then you end up in Route C instead.

Interesting. Can you give me the route you did that doesn't include the "Maybe a Little" to trigger Route A?

Quite sure. Day 26 pushing triggers a love check and this decision does contribute to Shoichi's love.

You can test this by skipping one of the other choices first to confirm that you're still on Route A. Then test skipping one choice AND this Day 24 choice. If it didn't matter, then you would still be on Route A, but it does impact Shoichi's love and you get Route C.

My guess with why this choice matters is that Yuuichi has to speak up his mind and be open with how he feels, as per the patch-up conversation you get in Route C.

All of them actually! He just does it so rarely. If you replay the moment where you push him away on the rooftop, you'll see him laugh as he calls Shoichi and Yuuichi "pathetic".

Route C - Walkthrough

The routes aren't complete and intend to merge later on. I recommend you try them all out, really.

There *is* a route that includes a Shoichi CG, so if you want to get that now, here's a walkthrough for that.

In general, all choices before the actual crossroads section (labeled CS) don't affect your ability to get any route. Just cutscene dialogue.

When you replay the game after going through a character route, you get the option to just skip right to the crossroads.

Depends on want you want:

  • Jun - You better be ready for a wild emotional ride, because it never stops
  • Keisuke -  Lighthearted and mostly stable in the beginning, but if you know Keisuke's family, you can see where this goes later on
  • Shoichi - The most wholesome time with the best boi. The tension and problems in this route are probably the most mundane, but that makes it all the more relatable.

You're welcome! The persistent save file gets the bad ending BGM unset only when you avoid it. I'm guessing Basket expected people to go back to the QTE and it gets fixed then. This unfortunately doesn't help with people who do the bad ending a second time and have saves for the other route.

I don't know much about RenPy, but there's probably some boot mechanism that could be used to unset the bad ending BGM if someone just closes the game and reopens it.

(1 edit)

Have you tried going back to that QTE, preventing the bad ending, and playing through the end?
Edit: The main menu music should be fixed as long as you make it to the next day after avoiding the bad ending.

On Day 26? There's a love check for that, so here's some things you can do to make sure it's high enough to have it end well:

  • Day 16 - Make curry
  • Day 20 - "Trust me"
  • Day 20 - "Good luck"
  • Day 21 - Is fine
  • Day 26 - It's not fine
  • Day 26 - Reject

I would never wish ill to another. But admittedly, I would not feel a lot of sympathy for him if something did, especially after you hear through more details of the divorce.

Wow, I didn't even realize the Wiki had that. I also had a long-ass walkthrough in case someone was gonna ask.

Edit: I'm not a fan of calling Route C a bad route though. Yuuichi and Shoichi patch up quite nicely and this route is also the first one where Yuuichi realizes his love. Basket also mentioned that he'll be merging all three of these as well.
